Our Mission is to Empower Female Veterans
Your contribution directly funds economic and affordable housing for veterans. With our partners ThriveLA, we aim to build communities in a sustainable fashion with homes that cost just 1/10th that of traditional housing.
Please reach us at deecrouch@msn.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We aim to utilize inexpensive rural land and take advantage of the State of California's farmworker housing framework. This will allow us to build non-traditional homes, such as tiny homes on wheels that can cost as little as 10% that of a standard single family home.
LifeSourceOasis currently owns 2.5 acres of property in the Palmdale area.
Our first community is currently being planned and designed for 6 female veterans to work and live.
Aside from building tiny homes to keep costs low, we will be designing measures such as smart passive heating and cooling, strategies that are effectively used in similar communities such as the Earthship community in Taos, New Mexico. While also training the residents to work the land, helping to pay both for upkeep and allowing them to earn wages. This also opens the door to growing a good portion of their own food.
